Import data by connecting to different sources
  • The different modes of connection: Import, Direct Query.
  • Connection to structured data (xlsx, csc, SGBDR).
  • Connection to Unstructured Data (Web Page).
  • Change in source.

Hands-on work

  • Connecting to a xlsx file, connecting to a csv file connecting to a Windows folder.
Transform the data in Power Query
  • Presentation of the Power Query tool.
  • Presentation of regular formatting features (Transpose, Unpivot, Fill...).
  • Diagnostic data quality.
  • Data profiling (counting, double detection, etc.).
  • Fixed data following import (type incompatibility).
