Quality, Lean & management systems - IASSC™ Lean Six Sigma® Green Belt Certification, IASSC PeopleCert
A practical course focused on IASSC™ Lean Six Sigma® Green Belt Certification, IASSC PeopleCert. Participants build skills across three priorities: Introduction and Reminders, Phase 'Analyze' - Analyzing, The phase "Improve" - Improve.
Detailed programme
Introduction and Reminders
- The objectives of the Green Belt. The certification process.
- Reminders of the DMAIC approach. The fundamentals of Six Sigma®.
- Reminders of the Lean principles. The different types of waste.
- Reminder of the "Define" and "Measure" phases of the Yellow Belt perimeter.
Phase 'Analyze' - Analyzing
- Variation models: multivariance analysis and graph, application case, interpretation of analytical data.
- Statistical inference: central limit theorem, standard error...
- Introduction to the hypothesis test: objectives, concept of central trend, types of hypothesis test...
- Hypothesis test with normal data: sample size, various hypothesis tests on averages, analysis...
- Hypothesis test with nonnormal data: equal variance data, medians, proportions, contingence tests.
The phase "Improve" - Improve
- Process modelling by regression.
- Advanced process modelling.
- Linear and nonlinear regression. Multiple linear regression (MLR).
- Introduction to the experience plan.
- Describe the differences between the physical model and an experience plan (DOE: Design Of Experiment).
- Explain an OFAT experiment and its weaknesses.
The phase "Control" - Control
- Reminders: Lean control and tools, 5S, Kanban, Poke-Yoke...
- Reminders: Six Sigma® control plan, cost-benefit analysis...
- Advanced Experimentation: Use the results of a DOE to determine the degree of process improvement.
- Capacity analysis: process capacity, selection of the analytical method, interpretation...
- Default control: prevention methods, tools and techniques...
- Presentation of the SPC: Statistical Process Control.
- Describe the elements of a SPC graph and the objectives of the SPC graph.
- Describe the 9 steps in the methodology for implementing a control card.
Preparation for certification exam
- Case study implementing the DMAIC phases.
- General revisions.
